Both Mohammed Elshorbagy and Nour El Shirbini used the Tecnifibre Carboflex 125 Heritage, the company's first 125 gram Carboflex model, as they rose to the top of the PSA rankings.This racket was, and still is so successful that Tecnifibre continues to market and sell this racket, even with three more recent incarnations being produced (the 125s, the X-speed and the Airshaft). Miguel Rodriguez even skipped his own signature racket, the Dynergy AP 125, in favor of the Carboflex Cannonball until Tecnifibre debuted it in 2019.

The Tecnifibre Carboflex 125 Heritage is an evenly balanced racket (it’s not head heavy, nor is it head light), and is reasonably light weight at just 125 grams. This increases the racket's maneuverability without compromising its power. This racket is well-suited to the majority of playing styles and is a pleasant mix.

Tecnifibre built the racket with a strong frame and a reasonably dense stringing pattern (the spaces between the strings are rather narrow). In concrete terms, this means the racket feels less forgiving than other rackets due to it having a narrower ‘sweet spot’. This means if you don’t strike the ball in the appropriate location on the racket, you’ll probably know about it.
